It was impossible. No way she could make it. Time was against her; and so was her body. Sleep demanded its excruciating payment and her concentration was fading. Flustered, she wasn’t even conscious of crying to God for help. But God was –
The phone rang. She answered.
‘Just checking in on you’, the voice said. It was the right call for the moment. She resumed her task. Spirits lifted. Strength renewed. Peace restored. Through ONE call, God delivered again.
He mentally fixed his eyes on the prize. If only … when his mind returned to his current situation, time had elapsed and he was in turmoil. A whisper entered his heart – do it This way. A thought, an outline. An entire plan, complete with support. His heart soared – nobody but God!
