It’s International Womens Day! We bless God for all significant women in our lives and the ways they have impacted us. A quick reminder that God has been given feminine attributes in the Bible and so we can see God’s likeness in women and men. Does this affect how we see or worship God? Hmmn Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“Now to Him who is able to do far beyond all that we ask or imagine, by means of His power that works in us, to Him be the glory in the community of believers and in Messiah Yeshua throughout all generations forever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21 TLV
Ultimately, we see God through spiritual imagination. And for many of us; we don’t ‘see’ God in human form. The nature of God is important inasmuch as we realize that no one gender, race or ability defines our God. We are ALL created in God’s likeness – even those whom we love to hate.
That being said, we recognize that God’s Spirit works within us, and offers to us the gift of creativity. We also confirm that God’s creativity extends far beyond our greatest ask and the limits of our imagination. We have proven God – well, most of us – to be all we can imagine and more. We have experienced God’s grace and provision for ourselves, both through direct intervention and the salvific work of Jesus Christ. We each bear testimony of God’s power at work in humanity and the excellence of God’s craft.
There’s only one response fitting … giving ALL the glory due God TO God; our Creator. Hallelujah hallelujah amen
