Nougat 8

Here’s today’s Holy Nougat

“If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is.” ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

And one way God can’t change is in loving us. God’s loving kindness and faithfulness is visible all around us –

– in the air we breathe, despite pollution and degradation we’ve created;

– in the little provisions, as a reminder that God is the One Who always supplies our needs;

– in protecting us from ourselves and others, especially when we neither see nor sense the danger;

– in nature, the animals and plants that remind us of God’s creativity

– in the little inexplicable things that somehow work together for our well-being

– in the stranger, whose need or kindness resonates with us, remembering our own experiences of God’s grace and goodness

– in the mirror, that constant proof of God’s creative genius, of passion and compassion, of mercy, generosity, of life, and of love.

Because we have proof of God’s steadfastness we entrust our lives, our family, our friends and foes; and also our future. We seek to remain faithful in turn, repenting of our sins and working to replicate God’s faithfulness in all our ways.
