Hello

Let continue in steadfast prayer for relief for those impacted by typhoons, must slides and hurricanes in this season of ?(super)natural disasters.

Also advising that the Nougats will be off schedule for a few days. Expect the payment, they might be later than normal.

Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™

Jesus’ trial before Caiaphas ended in the early hours of the morning. Then he was taken to the headquarters of the Roman governor. His accusers didn’t go inside because it would defile them, and they wouldn’t be allowed to celebrate the Passover. John 18:28 NLT

Isn’t it ironic; Jesus’s accusers were concerned about being defiled … but saw nothing wrong with levying charges, imagined and crafted, against Jesus? In fact, those men were prepared to stop at nothing short of Jesus’ death, although they were not prepared to miss the Passover celebrations by being physically caught in unclean public spaces.

What’s more noteworthy for us all, is Jesus’ later response. Instead of speaking damnation and calling forth condemnation upon his accusers, Jesus opted to forgive those men religious. How many of us have been hurt, accused, and abused by the church -whether directly or indirectly? Far often a saint undergoes pain and abuse from the very place which ought to protect. And, we are often tempted to separate ourselves and be party to the destruction of such persons. But while we renounce abuse, it is also incumbent upon us to offer grace and forgiveness, even if it is not sought. For that is the blueprint left for us to emulate.

Forgive us dear Lord, for being part of the problem and not the solutions. Help us to encourage forgiveness of those who have hurt us within the Body of Christ and are more concerned about outward appearances than with hurting You. Hear our hearts’ cry dear Jesus we pray, Amen

In Christ’s love and grace
