Today’s reflection, May 7

Pray In the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints. Eph 6:18

Blessings to You. There was one a time when I couldn’t understand HOW it was that Christians were being asked to be in constant prayer. Didn’t we need to get other things done? Wasn’t there more to life than talking non-stop? Even if it was to God?

But I’m discovering that by praying in the Spirit, I am being encouraged to be so attuned with God that it is a continuous flow.

Further, there is an underlying insistence that we be always on the lookout to build someone up, to resuscitate or to transform their natural situation using our direct line to the Supernatural.

In prayer, we not only build spiritual muscle for it own life, But we gather the strength and ability (like dynamite) to break fortifications through Christ’s power. But first, we have to be connected, in relationship. We have to understand the Word and accept the Word as living in us. (John1:1,14) then as the relationship deepens, the conversation comes more easily and soon, we are ready to pray in the Spirit continuously; for ourselves and others.

󾍛 Lord, tech is how to pray in the Spirit. May our hearts be filled with compassion for the other. Guide us into destroying spiritual fortifications through your dynamite power. For us how to use our armor against the devil we pray, in Jesus’s name amen. God bless you, may your day be filled with an awareness of Christ.
