Nougat 7

Having intentionally reflected on God’s Creative power; let’s revisit the merits of God’s power for us in today’s Holy Nougat

“Now to Him who is able to do far beyond all that we ask or imagine, by means of His power that works in us, to Him be the glory in the community of believers and in Messiah Yeshua throughout all generations forever and ever! Amen.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭TLV‬‬

If we are in agreement with yesterday’s nougat that suggests God is powerful beyond measure, and is the One Who fuels our Creativity, we ought also concur that God’s capabilities are beyond our limits. So it should follow that our imagination is also subject to God’s power to will and to do.

Jesus’ resurrection stands as proof that God IS CAPABLE of doing way beyond our limited imagination. For though He had raised many from death; raising Himself was like the ultimate Houdini. Death, the final uncharted territory was subjugated. And while it doesn’t mean no one else died after Jesus; there is no question about God’s power to do anything.

Yet, far often we fail to make requests of God. Why? Could it be that we received a No in the past, and have subsequently determined that God’s power is limited or nonexistent? Or maybe we have not had a personal experience of God’s capabilities and power? If that’s the case, perhaps it’s time to invite God to self-reveal beyond our own thoughts and imagination.

So could we begin to conceive of a relationship with God that goes beyond the limits set by ourselves or others? Can we begin to open ourselves to the limitless possibilities God has for our lives? Are we open to asking God to do and be with us that births transformation in us and others?
