Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.” 2 Corinthians 5:15 NLT
Everyone … His new life … Not for themselves … [but] for Christ
I tell you, it’s a good plan.
They messed up, which in turn means we mess up.
We landed in God’s wrath, away from God’s direct, personal daily presence, due for eternal damnation.
We can’t fix the mess ourselves (in fact we compound it). A divine solution was required for the humano-divine mess.
The *Solution* came
His name : Jesus
His role : Redemption
His motive : Restoration
His method : Resurrection
His goal : Salvation
His target : Backslidden (all sinned and fell short of God’s glory)
The *Recipients* were there/are here
Our name : His Children
Our role: Repentance
Our motive: End of eternal damnation
Our method : Belief and Baptism
Our goal : No condemnation
Our target : Christ, our Salvation
Christ came as the Bridge,
Christ came as the Way;
Christ came to take us back,
Christ came
Christ died for our deliverance
Christ rose to set us free
Christ is our eternity
Christ lives
Christ chose us before our beginning
Christ chose us in life and death
Christ chose us for forever Salvation
Christ chose us
Christ has returned home in glory
Christ has prepared for us a place
Christ has interceded for our inclusion
Christ waits
What a marvelous plan!
I don’t want to keep Him waiting. I choose Christ
