Hello

Have you ever cherished someone and lost their love? What was it like? Have you recovered? How did it affect your other relationships? Are you recovered from it and did you carry a grudge against the person? Something to ponder in anticipation of today’s Holy Nougat

All of us must die eventually. Our lives are like water spilled out on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again. But God does not just sweep life away; instead, he devises ways to bring us back when we have been separated from him. 2 Samuel 14:14 NLT

What an amazing blueprint for relationships! Can you imagine – from the onset, God decided that we were worth saving; despite the chasm which sin created. How God must cherish us! To offer that wonderful contingency clause; that’s literally dragging us from eternal death unto life itself.

And when we consider that the Cross was a tree; oh lord. Especially since in the natural order of living things; FRUIT hang from trees; not people! And with the curse attached to the First Tree; it bears consideration that even in the choice of death penalty, Jesus reversed our sentence.

How then do we respond?

With gratitude

With the desire to share the kindness we are experiencing

With love for others

All of the above!

Lord lift us up to where we’ll be raring to share Your love for others. May our lives be as a drink n offering poured out for others – especially when they don’t seem to deserve it. Help us to devise ways to show others how much You cherish us. In Jesus’s name amen

In Christ’s love and grace . . .
