Years ago, a friend visited me and arose early in the morning to pray. Upon opening the window,, the security system was rendered defenceless; resulting in the theft of my visitor’s mobile telephone. The security firm took forever to attend to us after the theft; but other than our Peace of mind, we were unscathed by the robbery.
How do we reconcile an incident such as that with the God of the Bible? What assurance does God’s Word offer in cases such as these? Something to slowly chew on as we nibble at today’s Holy Nougat™

What does angelic detail look like for the average Christian? And how does this detail work, considering the attacks on churches in Nigeria this past weekend and ok individuals and groups from the early Church until now?
How do we offer comfort to survivors of evil acts who’ve lived their entire lives being faithful to God? And while being absent in the body means we’re ushered into God’s presence, what does that mean for us when the evil perpetrated does not result in death, but we actually wish it had.
Being a believer is not always easy, nor is it always sweetness and light. Trusting God in the Valley of Shadows is not always easy. Trusting God in our Job situations is not always easy. Yes. I firmly believe God sends angels to protect and keep us. I’ve had some experiences which could only be angels. But there are some which require a willingness to believe in God despite. Are you up to it? Am I up to it?
