The Spirit then compelled Jesus to go into the wilderness, Mark 1:12 NLT
If you are still plodding through a season of suffering, lack or disease; take courage. Even Jesus faced time in the Valley of Shadows.
His life was perfect, yet Jesus underwent forty days of depravation and temptation, and that was only in preparation for His public ministry! Thereafter, the enemy returned time and again, as friend, foe, and also as the Body religious. And all those moments were orchestrated by the Holy Spirit!!!
Jesus is THE Standard for our own spiritual journey, hence we know that wilderness travels comprise part of our Faithwalk. What matters then is our attitude in the Wilderness.
Would our attitude to the wilderness shift if we knew we were compelled there by the Holy Spirit? And what if that time of testing preceded God’s ministry plan for our lives? Moreover, if the Holy Spirit compels us to be in the wilderness, then for certain angels have been assigned to minister to us as we withstand.
