Greetings everyone
It seems the winter snooze has gotten to me. However, though the Nougat might be late, it will be posted unless I’m directed otherwise. My apologies for the delay.
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. Romans 5:12 NLT
Let’s talk about sin. Missing God’s mark. Falling short of God’s glory. Walking outside of God’s will. Yup sin.
Many persons, including Christians, are not comfortable with acknowledging human sinfulness. But it is a very real part of our human existence. And it usually begins with a choice.
Sin is totally and absolutely reprehensible to God. So, Adam’s choice led to him hiding from God and eventually his expulsion from Heaven. Since Adam, humanity has had an indirect mission to earn rights back into Heaven. But that is impossible in our own strength for our natural desire to be our own boss continues to pull us into making bad choices.
With the love for humanity that only a Creator could possess, God chose to offer a Way Out. And that Way Out is whom we celebrate each day.
Jesus Christ. Y’SHUA, the Anointed One, Savior, the Son of God. Have you met him as yet? Who is he to you?
Today, whether you celebrate Christmas or not, I invite you to consider the Mystery of our Faith embodied in Jesus’s birth, death and resurrection. That is What, Why and Whom we celebrate. He is the reason we live. Not only in this season, not with the hustle and bustle; but ALWAYS, in our hearts and actions. That’s why death cannot have the final answer. Because Jesus choose to offer is Life. One day He SHALL return to rescue us from Death. How do you choose to respond? I’m choosing to celebrate!
