Nougat 6

Hi

Hope you find comfort in the reflections stemming from a response to today’s Holy Nougat

God bless you

“So she said to Elijah, “What do I have to do with you, man of God? Have you come to me to remind me of my sin and kill my son?”” 1 Kings 17:18 TLV

When things go wrong as they often will; when life’s road suddenly swerves into the steepest hill

When you find yourself traveling through the Valley of death

Try not to give in to the urge to fret!

Avoid the blame game – It’ll get you down

Transforming happy moments through wrinkles and frowns

When you feel forgotten, forsaken, frustrated a bit

Cry if you must, but don’t you fret

Rant to a God who’ll hear our hearts’ sighs

Recognizing God collects our tears when we cry

Releasing our worries, healing our fears

I assure you my friend that our God really cares

So whether it’s concerns about Covid-19

Or trying to overcome fear of the unseen

Hold firm to God’s promises, they are the Truth

Send all your cares heavenwards, God knows what to do

I pray that you find Hope no matter life‘s pain

In the Peace that endures again and again

For though the Lord gives and takers away

God also sends sunshine after the rain

Entrust God your heart though battered and bruised

Cast your cares upon Jesus Who wants to care for you naa

In Christ’s love and grace . . .
