Hope … The feeling we feel that overrides the other feelings that would blot out our joy today, this giving the new feeling of peace and perhaps even excitement as we look toward tomorrow. In short, Hope is born of anticipation. It takes us past the doldrums and the can’ts of today into the cans of later. Hope reminds us who fights our battles, even when the odds are against us in the natural. Hope assures us that it is well because Christ is in the vessel.
