I wouldn’t heed instructions nor listen to any of my teachers. Proverbs 5:13
Sometimes we reflect at the path our lives take, and it is only in retrospect we realize that failure to heed instructions, the voice of Wisdom resulted on our own demise.
True, there are also instances when going solo – win, lose or draw – comes with is fair share of success. So the issue is perhaps identifying the kairos moment and making the right decision. If that is the case, then we should also check to ensure that we obey THE Teacher, who wishes to gift us with Wisdom and Discernment.
Today, as we join with Jamaica in celebrating their independence, I invite us to heed instructions and give precedent to the directive of the Holy Spirit.
