Ironically, these words preceded Jesus’s arrest and crucifixion, rather than the announcement of his birth. A quick listen to the news, or a look around us would indicate that we are in some serious times. Some contend that we are in the last days before Christ’s return, and i would respond, if it is what preparations have we made?

This isn’t alarmist, just a simple sharing. As we join in the festivities of the season (or not), let us also prepare for The Festivities of Christ’s return. His birth is important to our Faith, his death and resurrection more so, but his Return is a vital aspect element of the Hope which keeps us going, right.
