Nougat 6

I woke up to a city still in darkness. That early morning haze between night and dawn. I felt led to pray for the city as it sleeps. Then it struck me: we’re at our most vulnerable when we sleep (rest), for our system virtually shuts down; yet we’re fully covered – it’s God’s Spirit Who keeps and awakens us.

Bask in that for a moment: now give thanks to God for care and keep

What vulnerability do we need to place in God’s care as we find rest in God?

Do so now in prayer.
