Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. Genesis 18:11 KJV

Long after her plans and pleas would have gone cold, God’s promise of a son comes to fruition. I can only imagine what ensured through the years as both Abraham and Sarah ran the gamut of emotions every month when no child was forthcoming. More so, their shock upon receiving the promise of a son being born way past their dotage. No wonder Sarah laughed.

And yet, less than a year later, Isaac was born. Just as the Lord had promised. Or on time God.

So what is the promise which God has given to you? And how do you respond when the statue of natural limitations has expired on your expectations for God’s intervention?

Today, I urge us to consider Abraham. Isaac was born 14 years after the compromise child Ishmael. He was born 25 years after God’s promise to establish Abram. In fact, when the natural limitations have expired, God is usually on spot with the supernatural intervention. And that has no limitations.

Once again, brothers and sisters, let’s let go of our fears, allowing God to be God. I pray grace for the journey.

Blessings!
