Hello,
It’s been a long week, and today is only Wednesday. .
But, the GCT Principle remains in tact, God Control Things, and so, No matter what, we remain in praise mode.
Here’s today’s nougat
“Lord,” Martha exclaimed, “if you had been here, my brother wouldn’t have died.” John 11:21, 32b
Wow! What a burden to place on Jesus’s shoulder. And yet, it was so utterly honest. Let’s face it, Lazarus was only critically ill when the sisters sent for Jesus. He was only hours away, but delayed visiting and detoured until Lazarus rotted four days in the family plot.
Not good.
Both his sisters were understandably upset. And we marvel at Jesus’s motive, becoming write proficient at understanding the critical nature of Jesus’s delay.
Until it’s our grief. And we are the ones kept waiting … and waiting … and waiting …
And we revisit the Rule Book. We’ve been obedient.
… Still waiting …
And someone who is in a less critical situation, with a far less intimate relationship with God gets healed …
… FlatLine …
Burial. Others get their breakthrough, wonderingwhether we are among the forsaken.
…
Finally he appears.
To late.
And asks, “Do you trust me with the ad-ons? As My friend, you have ventured into my kingdom, You continue to please me in your ways. I guarantee you that this problem will exist no more. Just believe.”
Before we determine what it is that we believe, Let us first be honest with God,
“Lord, if You were here ie cared enough, My situation would be different.”
Listen. Can you hear Jesus crying?
Breakthrough is coming
