Have you been wrestling for way too long without the right answers? Could it be time to revisit today’s Holy Nougat
“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” 1 Peter 5:7 NLT
All means ALL. Including A) the worry that God does NOT understand; or the concern that God CAN NOT or WILL NOT supply a need. Having been Creator for humanity forever; I strongly suspect that our God can handle our honesty in citing our true issues. (After all, despite God’s wishes to the contrary, God has effectively handled our hypocrisy and pretense- even answering some prayers of our hearts with yes in the process). So how hard would it be to honestly approach God now?

Eternal God
You know my every thought, my true concerns. I am pausing however to especially lift up this matter that is weighing me down.
[Name issue please. And listen to yourself raising it. Consider why it is hard to hand it over to God.]
I crave Your Peace which assures that You’ve got this. And having thought through the why of our withholding this from You, help me find the strength to overcome that concern.
Thanks for hearing me in this moment El Rohi, for You see me and know my name and pain. Hear me please Lord and allow me to hear Your reply. Amen
