Hello
Blessings to all our new students and returnees also. May your year be filled with grace from beginning to end.
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
Eventually, a new king came to power in Egypt who knew nothing about Joseph or what he had done. Exodus 1:8 NLT
The first temptation which today’s Nougat brings is that of mediocrity. Since my work will eventually be forgotten, let’s not put too much effort in our presentation in the first place. Wrong. Totally wrong. For our performance is not contingent upon someone’s opinion of us! Rather, we perform for The One, who never forgets us and keeps a record of our behavior throughout time.
Here’s a thought to govern our actions when we’re feeling unappreciated.
People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.
Have a blessed day being you,!
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
