Hi
Ever considered the power in numbers?
Here’s today’s nougat
Then drew near the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph; and these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah. Numbers 27:1
Virtually orphans in the half tribe, the 5 girls could easily have disappeared as a result of their gender. But they opted to work together for their greater good.
“Song” (or sickness), “Rest” (or “comfort”), “Partridge”, “Queen” and “Delight” all collaborated to male representation to Moses, their spiritual and legislative leader.
When in a bind, do we go off on our own and lick our wounds in despair, or, do we move past our dis-ease ( sickness) with a Delightful Song with the countenance of a Queen to seek Rest with the support of others in our circumstances?
May God’s grace be ours in the midst of our situations.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
