What a promise! Sometimes reading personal promises such as these I am inclined to believe that God gave Joshua such an assurance within a specific context and thus, it doesn’t hold for people like us. But, in God’s eyes, there’s no such expression. Psalm 100 reminds me that We are God’s people; a premise established from ‘Creation days’.
So then, what does this mean for us?
A. God fights our battles
B. God has established a precedent as PROOF that God is with us
C. God wants us to succeed
Now, that’s not to say there won’t be anguish or agony from time to time. But that truly is not our portion.
What if we were to walk with the confident assurance of What we have been promised?
