Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“But the Lord is in his holy Temple. Let all the earth be silent before him.”” Habakkuk 2:20 NLT
Sometimes, the only thing remaining for us to do is be still before the presence. Of God. It’s not easy for some of us (stillness is construed as punishment), but the holiy otherness of God may instill a reverent hush in God’s presence.
In other instances, we find ourselves at our wits end and the only thing left to do is simply be still in the presence of the Almighty God.
If our bodies are the temple of God, then perhaps today we are being urged to experience the manifest presence of God. That being the case, let us empty the temple of all idols and distractions , let us prepare the altar; and as we approach the altar, we seek a divine visitation.
Sense the presence of the Lord in the holy temple; our bodies.
