Hello

When last have you experienced a power cut during the night? Not fun until you find candles, flashlight (on your charged mobile), or the emergency power source kicks in. How about walking in the dark, having been in a lit area shortly before?

Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. Psalms 119:105 NLT

Often when we are at a crossroad, it feels as though there is a power cut. Do we take the road untraveled, relying to the faith that sustains us; or do we stick to that which we know, the comfortable and perhaps conflicted? Might I recommend Jesus as as our guide (after all, He IS the Way!)

At other times we might be feeling alone and perhaps unsure about the way forward; might I recommend Jesus our standby power supply (actually as our all time power source)?

There are also moments when we have to admit that we’re lost … literally, mentally, emotionally, directionally, physically, professionally, socially or spiritually; (possibly a combination of those mentioned). Might I recommend Jesus as our GPS, our Sat Nav, our tracking device … to restore us to the right path, the moment ask?

Sometimes, being placed back on God’s path doesn’t feel right – we might have to travel through what seems like some treacherous paths to get back to the main, depending on how we’ve drifted … But if we look to our Light, our Guide, our GPS, restoration will come and we will get back on track!

Thank You Lord for outlining the way to God with your Blood, for being our power supply when we can’t see the way to God, for being our Guide when we’re lost, and for providing directions in Your Word. We bless Your name today and always dear Jesus, amen.

Thanks for joining us for the Divine feast.

God bless you!

In Christ’s love and grace . . .
