Nougat 4

Blessings

With all happening in the world and in our lives, sometimes we’re challenged to determine how to respond.

Today’s Holy Nougat™ offers an interesting perspective.

Is any thing too hard for the Lord ? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. Genesis 18:14 KJV

Have you ever had a real crisis of Faith? A moment where you wondered to yourself, or to others whether the Lord would come through to fulfill a promise? One of those, “I’m certain the Lord is too busy to address …, so I’ll just handle it myself” moments? Or maybe it was, “Well, the last time I asked for something important, nothing happened, so I’m not even going to pray about this one?”

I know I’ve had a few of those moments. And while I wasn’t consciously saying those things, my actions spoke volumes! You know. Those moments when you’ve gone off and tackled an issue without praying first, and ultimately regretted it. In my case, it’s even happened right after a Major Special Reserve Miracle that should tell me that God’s got this. But, my problem seemed insurmountable, and in that moment, my view of God so small.

If you’ve had one of those moments, you probably may also have heard the still small voice saying, “Is there anything too hard for the Lord”? As impossible as it seems, in those moments, we have the wonderful opportunity to put fear to rest and go Faith Forward. To remove the limits and let God be God. I guarantee that we’ll be pleasantly surprised to see what God does next.
