Greetings
Several years ago, for a few weeks prior to their crackdown on Ponzi schemes, the Jamaican government aired an advertisement which simply asked “do you know where your money is?” Shortly thereafter, many persons found themselves totally bankrupt as they had risked everything with their investors. The economy suffered and many are still trying to recoup their losses.
Did you know that God has a word about our finances also? Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
Money is put into risky investments that turn sour, and everything is lost. In the end, there is nothing left to pass on to one’s children. Ecclesiastes 5:14 NLT
Why would God invite us to pay attention to our finances? Have you headed that advice?
How important is money management to you? And do speculate or stick to basic savings?
When you invest, to what extent do you seek to make provision for the future?
Have you ever consulted God before investing, or is that not a consideration?
Can tithing offer benefits to the giver?
Remember, the best investment we can make requires time and talent, not so much our treasure. So let’s ensure that our investment is secure, by placing Jesus at the forefront of all we spend or save.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
