Today’s Holy Nougat is a gift … if we ask for it.
“He replied, “You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not.” Matthew 13:11 NLT
Wow! Isn’t that GREAT news? As Jesus’ disciples, we have access to Heaven’s secrets. That’s really good news for any day. Especially when life gets outside our control.
Of course, like the disciples, we may need to ask for access to same. But, it’s part of the gifts we receive in this wonderful relationship with Jesus.
We need those secrets to overturn that which the enemy of our souls is trying to establish. For, when we are intimately familiar with the genuine, we will not be impressed with the fakes. Furthermore the secrets also include arsenal for battle as well as access to God’s high command (c.f. Matthew 16, where Peter is assured of his rights and powers as one anointed and directed by the Holy Spirit).
Today, I urge us to ask the Holy Spirit to give to us the secrets of Heaven.
