40 times they journeyed from … and encamped in!
A journey of a few days, extended to 40 years, and FORTY campsites! But why did they delay?
Obviously, it was not part of God’s desire for them, and yet God did not stop them.
I suspect that when we falter, God opts to await our return to the household of relationship. 6 And sometimes that takes a while. What a love! Should we know what God had in store, we probably wouldn’t have been in the wilderness for so long.
What a joy it is to know my heavenly Father loves me so and gives to me my Jesus! For when he looks at me, he sees not what I used to be, but he sees Jesus.
