Today’s Holy Nougat invites us to keep God at the center.
“The Lord looks down from heaven on humankind to see if there are any who are wise, who seek after God.” Psalms 14:2 NRSV
Want wisdom?
Believe that God is, and pursue God.
Sounds so simple, right? And it is simple. The complications arise when we are implementing during trials or temptation. For usually, we rely on our own understanding in a pinch, forgetting that God’s guidance is guaranteed to be good for us. And when we make the choice to seek our own counsel (or others, but not including God’s), we rush right into the realm of stupidity or poor decisions.
With the new year approaching, might we strive for 2020 wisdom and vision, recognizing that with God in the processes, actions, thoughts and experiences; it will be a very productive year.
Above all, we choose Wisdom.
