Where one person gets instructions on fording the river (without Moses’ rod). Sometimes it takes two to cross the waters of Life. One to encourage or direct the Other who is crossing.

I just might have a problem that you understand, we all need somebody to lean I’m
I urge those of us who’ve passed through the flood waters of despair, comfort those who are undergoing. We might prevent someone from going over the edge. Or our testimony may help someone to overcome.
Lord Jesus,
You understand despair. You overcame it in the Garden when faced with death on the Cross. You provided release for the impotent man by the pool, and restored the disciples’ souls from the pit when you visited them in the Upper Room and on the road.
Comfort those who mourn with the oil of joy. Fulfil Your Word once again. Show us how to be effective in encouragement we pray, in Jesus’s name
