A funny thing about good salvationYou know. Were don’t earn it, we can’t buy it, we can’t disqualify others from receiving it. Its here. Paid for by Jesus’s blood. Available for ALL who believing will receive it.
And there’s that faith bit once again. This time however, it’s more about believing that God exists and rewards those who diligently seek, with unlimited access to the throne of grace.
But it’s also a free gift so that the “Country Club” approach to Christianity is eliminated, leaving us with a deep gratitude for the gift. Remember the woman who washed his feet? That’s a response to unmerited grace. And the tax collector who entertained him AFTER giving away much of his riches? A grace response also.
And me? You? What is our response? Is not about what we’ve done, its about what HE did.
