Do you long to make direct impact for Christ? Take a nibble at today’s Holy Nougat

“Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.” ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

How-Why did anyone determine that we all should be preaching? Isn’t that reserved for specialized people or those anointed for such? But let’s not forget – we each have a testimony. And that’s a great starting point, for our witness to God’s goodness can be a catalyst for another’s transformation.

Secondly, we can preach effectively through our lifestyles. In a world where folks seem less interested in attending worship services. So it’s our faithfulness under fire makes a critical difference for others, especially the hurt, broken, lost, lonely, downtrodden, distressed, disturbed and dying in life. It begins with our hearts being open to truly love our neighbor as ourselves.

A smile, word of encouragement, assistance in unexpected ways and sharing of tangible and intangible blessings point to the depths of Christ’s love. We love for He first loved. Hopefully our openness and sincerity will take the conversation to the invitation to know Christ Jesus for themselves.

Lastly, we can reflect on the major events in the life of Jesus. Blog it, prepare a podcast, make videos for TikTok and YouTube, computer games and of course literal sermons are some viable options. I am confident that we can find our niche in one or more of those. And, above all else, we point the others to God’s grace and glory.

So yes, let’s preach in and out of season.

May all we seek be found in Christ
