Years ago I attended a service where the pastor spoke about favor with authority. The phrase stuck with me as I recognized time and again the truth; God has favored me in many unexpected situations. A joy it had been to learn the ways of God. Consider then, Daniels story in today’s Holy Nougat™
Hearing this, the king was deeply troubled, and he tried to think of a way to save Daniel. He spent the rest of the day looking for a way to get Daniel out of this predicament. Daniel 6:14 NLT
Now THAT is true favor with authority. There was the King, the indirect source of Daniel’s problems, worried about Daniel and seeking a means to rescue him!
Only God.
Too fanciful for words.
And yet God guarantees is unmerited favor with the Ultimate Authority when we choose God.
Tired of trying to solve Life any other way? Choose God. Only God can fix what ails us.
Lord help. We need You today.
