Bless the Lord oh saints,
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
Jesus went into the synagogue again and noticed a man with a deformed hand. Mark 3:1 NLT
Can you imagine it, the course of action here? Can you see the men and women dressed for worship, some hurrying, others talking their sweet time and yet others following Jesus scarcely realizing that He was going to the temple.
If you were paying attention, you would have paused, because Jesus and Tempe always equals excitement. Especially on the Sabbath days. And then mid-stride, Jesus pauses. He turns, and His gaze and body pause before the crippled beggar. A beggar, not an adherent, but a beggar.
The air literally crackles with excitement and anticipation.. For, it is the Sabbath, and God forbids working on the Sabbath. And everyone knows that healing IS work. Most folks know that Jesus doesn’t leave the dis-eased in their condition.
Based on your relationship with Jesus and with the man, what do you wish to see happen next? Why?
Would you defend Jesus for healing the man or not?
Would your response be the same if You were the One in need of healing?
Thanks for joining us in this Divine feast
