How was your week. Many of us have resumed the routine of back to school, with one or two countries lagging behind. How are your preps going? And what’s happening in your world? Update us, so we might rejoice or pray with you.
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. Romans 8:6 NLT
Most of us desire peace. But peace of mind sometimes seems very elusive. Family demands, relationship demands, health demands, work demands, school demands, addiction/entertainment demands, or even church demands
(sometimes all the above) crowd in and there’s very little room left for anything. Especially peace.
But here’s a thought to add to the equation:
What if we took our minds off EVERY THING named above, and focused on Jesus? You know – the One who is able to keep us? What if the Holy Spirit had total access to our minds? To our preoccupation with family, relationships, health, work, school, entertainment/addictions, or church? To those issues we have hidden from the world and convinced ourselves that they’re hidden also from God?
Could it be that we’d have the peace (of God) we so desperately desire, and maybe even really start living?
