But it’s now over, thanks be to God. It felt overwhelming at points, but I encouraged myself in the Lord literally.

So they hated him for his integrity … He was a goodie two shoes
They despised him for his Faith … He was unapologetically Jewish
They conspired against him because God’s favour was upon him … Wisest man in the world, powerful and managing their lives
Rest assured saints, Matthew’s rendition of Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount regardingabuse underobedience to God (which mirrors Danie, Joseph and Jesus’s lives) is on point.
Not to suggest for a moment that every problem faced by a Christian is religious persecution; rather a reminder that sometimes our Faith will be used against us to test/punish us.
Just ask Jesus.
And ensure that you aren’t the one doing the persecution.
