Nougat 3

Blessings

Several of us struggle with our identity in Christ, whether we’re insiders or outsiders. We might be grappling with denominationalism or ‘faulty’ teaching or even a careless comment designed to keep us in our place. Perhaps we’re convinced by something we’ve read in the Word or just blessed with an inner guilt complex.

Might I offer us today’s Holy Nougat™?

  • Block all distractions and dissenting voices
  • Prayerfully engage
  • Brew with the Spirit of the Lord
  • Let simmer in our spirits.
  • Ingest.
  • Absorb in our hearts.
  • Savour.
  • Revisit.
  • Imbibe as often as needed until we’re assured of our status in Christ Jesus.

Because ultimately, it’s really God’s opinion which counts. So when we maintain a positive relationship (‘this new life’) with God, and have accepted Christ in our hearts, the rest lies within God’s will and purpose.

And, if/when doubt seeks to surface, give it over to God and revisit today’s Nougat …

Here’s today’s Holy Nougat

In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.Colossians 3:11
