Please receive today’s Holy Nougat

“So you should earnestly desire the most helpful gifts. But now let me show you a way of life that is best of all.” 1 Corinthians 12:31 NLT

That we should earnestly desire the most helpful gifts indicates that it is possible to manifest multiple gifts at a time. We can interpret tongues at one instant and be a vessel of Healing in another. It is critical that we remain aligned to God’s Spirit, our Source for legitimate spiritual gifts.

I invite us to take the remaining time we’d normally reserve for reading this reflection to prayerfully ponder. As we ponder, let’s ask ourselves

• What do we really believe about God’s Spirit

• Are we allowing God’s Spirit to live richly in our hearts

• How do we feel about manifesting the gifts of God’s Spirit

As we reflect we also examine ourselves to see the extent to which we are a vessel through which God’s Spirit operate. Is it our fear, are we open to the fullness of God’s blessings through us?

Now let’s think about the gifts we desire and why. May our motives be pure, clear and aligned to God’s purpose as we yield to the manifestation of God’s Spirit.
