Leadership is often lonely and thankless. Yet it has its rewards. From a distance it may seem somewhat glamorous, especially when we’re the ones being led. God’s leadership principle is slightly different. Leadership isn’t very glamorous, were first in the fray to protect those in our care. We assume responsibility for our subordinates’ mistakes. We are also called to serve all those in our care. Like Christ waking the road stained feet of the disciples … To protect them from diseases and to ensure that he could relate to their passion and issues …
So, first we count the cost …
Are we willing to serve others? To bear the brunt of all that entails?
How badly do we desire leadership?
Let’s remember that in serving others, were also serving Christ.
