Greetings one and all
Glad that you’re still here with us today, considering all else that’s happening around the world.
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
Eventually, a new king came to power in Egypt who knew nothing about Joseph or what he had done. Exodus 1:8 NLT
It is NO FUN being forgotten. It is even worse when the good you’ve done and the legacy you leave behind is forgotten our taken for granted.
But what of when it’s your ancestor who’s been responsible for another’s profitability and socioeconomic success, and it’s as tho your presence is an offense to them?
No, this is not about racial injustice in the USA (tho it could be); it’s inviting us to see the further reaching implications of the Nougat. Because honestly no one wishes to be ignored or abused after they’ve given so freely.
Yet …
That’s kinda what we do to Jesus on a regular basis. There are seasons when our actions suggest that WE are the ones who never met Jesus, and we hurt our sisters and brothers in the Faith (albeit, unintentionally I hope), with not a word of repentance.
May God’s grace convict us of our sins and may we also find grace to forgive those whose sinned against us …
God bless us all
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
