Blessed Easter my dears

Sometimes, it is AFTER the battle has been won that we get caught up in sin.

Here’s today’s nougat

You can express your anger, but do do not get so overwhejmed by it that you offend God.

Anger is a dangerous emotion, which, like all others, must be carefully managed. Often, the root of anger is frustration or perhaps offence compounded by the sense of justice being denied. It is so easy to allow anger to cloud our normally rational thoughts (ask Cain or Peter), and that’s where the danger lies.

Note however, that having seen the Messiah first, Mary was patient in explaining her experience to the unbelieving disciples. Then she allowed the Lord to complete the task of convincing the disciples.

After a lifetime of being ignored or silenced, how would you have responded to the disciples’ doubts?

When you are denied justice, ignored or fail to accept how a wrong goes unaddressed, how do you respond?
