Here’s today’s Holy Nougat

“Yeshua says, “Roll away the stone!” Martha, the dead man’s sister, said to Him, “Master, by this time he stinks! He’s been dead for four days!”” John‬ ‭11:39‬ ‭TLV‬‬

I just love Martha’s actions – you noticed? She is careful to convey Jesus’ instructions to the gathered crowd; THEN she turns to Jesus to ask her ‘obvious’ question. This, she frames as a statement. For though she states the obvious it seems that she’s asking Jesus if he realized that Lazarus was really and truly dead.

Have we been doing some of the same? Projecting a full and faithful presence to the world; while harbouring misgivings in our walk with Jesus? I know I’ve been there. So many concerns yet still believing!!! Although it might seem un-Christian, it’s definitely human. That is however; an ideal approach for our own relationship with Jesus.

So here goes: let’s prepare our questions for clarification; present them to Jesus, and await His response.
