Here’s today’s Holy Nougat

““A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” ‭‭John‬ ‭13:34‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Can you imagine – all Jesus commands us to do is Love Plain and simple. Well, not that simple. For loving someone, – be it family, foe or friends – comes with guaranteed heartache, loss, frustration, and disappointment.

Yet

Love is rewarding energizing hope-inspiring and divine.

We are likely to encounter both sides of love in just about any relationship which we pursue – even with ourselves. Our challenge is to determine whether – in the face of the potential for pain – Love is worth the investment.

And, before we decide, let’s beat in mind that Love is what has brought us to this point in our lives. But for the Love of Christ, we would be condemned to eternal damnation. The Love of Jesus qualities us to be kin with Him even as it keeps us going..

Are we up to embracing Jesus’ Love Dare? Let’s begin with ourselves and expand it intentionally to others.
