Nougat 28

You familiar with the truism bloom where you’re planted? Who’d have thought it is rooted in Scripture? Please receive today’s Holy Nougat

“But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When we consider the nougat, we realize that our gifts are necessary for this part of our journey. We might not be operating in what the world would say is the most important gift; our position might be less suited to our ability; but remember Joseph. It may not be about humiliation, but that God’s setting us up for promotion or wants to impact a life through us.

Can you imagine if our feet were on our stomachs, with our legs still dangling from our pelvis? Right now, with our current understanding of physiology and anatomy, it makes no sense. Because that’s not where God designed it to function. Feet (even the stinky, corn-riddled ones), are designed for walking. Not digestion. So we don’t expect our feet to do anything else but walk.

Are we feet? Should we be helping our siblings in walking the talk? Or hands, pointing the way? Are we the stomach, helping to process what God’s saying and/or doing in this season? We may even be the kidneys or anus, getting rid of the false doctrine – a crucial role in these times? Whatever role we’re assigned, whichever body part we are in the moment, remember – God has placed us where God desires.

I pray we live in purpose on purpose.
