Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“Do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and the poor. And do not scheme against each other.” Zechariah 7:10 NLT
Unfortunately, oppression has many faces; including silencing, withholding information, paltry salaries, intolerable living & working arrangements, sexual and physical violence. That doesn’t even touch less public oppression such as psychological abuse or manipulation. Ours is the responsibility to know if, recognize the signs and get involved.
Lending a hand is risky, but not impossible. Not lending a heart is callous. Whether we are interested to assist or not, there are so many dying and in need of our prayer, presence, protection and provision.
For God’s sake, let’s be the change the vulnerable need!
