How many of us belong to a prayer group? I know it’s not de riguer for many, but I am Souled out on the power of prayer. Today’s Holy Nougat™ offers us one possibility of things which happen when we spend some serious time in prayer.
“Write down what you have seen—both the things that are now happening and the things that will happen. Revelation 1:19 NLT
Although this vision was offered to John while in solitary confinement, visions are one by-product of an active and intentional prayer life/group. We’re told that God joins our conversations when we get together to pray and that healing, jailbreaks, conversion of some tough souls, national and local revivals are very natural and miraculous outcomes then and now.
What are some things which you yearn for in your prayer sessions; and what had been happening in the group or one-on-one with God? Have you or anyone in your group been recording your prayer requests, visions, answered prayers and any other acts of the Divine? If yes, as you record; did the act of recording result in increased prayer time with God, and have you been sharing your testimonies (and/or) increasing your intercession for others and our world at Large?
How has your renewed prayer life impacted your relationship with Christ?
And, how often have you paused to pray for world and church leaders including me, have you kept a record of the answered prayers?
In short, please consider increasing your prayer times, pausing to hear God’s response and taking record of the different ways God’s presence is manifested in answer to this season of renewed prayer.
