Now Caiaphas was he that gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people. John 18:14
One man. One man to give advice about what is expedient. One man with the experience to impact a historic verdict. One man versed in the Torah and it’s nuances.
And yet, that one man could not effect the decision if it fell outside of God’s will.
One person. One person required to impact the space in which God has placed us. One person blessed with the experience to feed those who hunger and thirst for righteousness. One person called to be God’s healing hands and feet in a hurting, broken world.
One soul. One soul lost and desperate to find the way home. One sole soul trying to smile through the tears locked up inside where only God understands. One sole soul whom God invites One Person to support and pray for.
One Soul. One Person. One God.
