What a week! All too soon it’s over, and we’re staring the new week in the face. Did you experience the presence of God at any point or share God with others?
Here’s our Holy Nougat™ for today
But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, Jude 1:20 NLT
Sometimes we’re being built up; at other times we’re doing the building up. What matters is that as saints we support each other, especially in our weaker moments. Interestingly, our faith seems to be the arena of our lives, which, in weaker moments need to be “kotched up” (offered support as with a crutch).
We are strongly encouraged to accomplish that by our prayers, not in tongues, but in the power of the Spirit. And since the Holy Spirit intercedes for us, we have the assurance that when we kotch each other, we have the endorsement of the Holy Spirit.
If we reflect on Acts 1.8, it becomes evident that the support of fellow believers is not restricted to our local congregation. For we receive the prayer Power to bear witness to God’s grace and in our Jerusalems, Judeas, Samarias, and beyond. Who better to begin with than our own?
Lord Jesus, help us to be our sister and brother’s keeper.
