Nougat 27

Yesterday we were advised that rumors of wars and wars are not proof of The End.

Today’s Holy Nougat takes us to those signs.

“Nations and kingdoms will fight against each other, and there will be famines and earthquakes in all sorts of places. But all these things are just the beginning of the sufferings associated with the end.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭CEB‬‬

Beginning of the End

So the rumblings of war, not those I mentioned – those are Real wars (Nations against Nations) – are but heats before the finals or the precursor to the main event. I suspect that it may be hard to distinguish the runouts from the wars, so we might not see a clear end before the beginning. Or maybe we shall – I am not God, I’m only trying to discern the Times and Seasons based on the phenomena playing out before us.

What is interesting for me is that natural disasters are also part of the Warning System. I think it makes sense, since Nature was part of the gift to humanity at Creation, and God has used natural phenomena to speak to humanity time and time again. Remember The Flood? Or the Solar Eclipse in Joshua 10 (this seems to be backed by scientific proof –

https://www.timesofisrael.com/3224-years-later…/ )? And we know that signs are pointers, they are not of themselves the event.

What then is the sign in our times? Hmmn anyone noticed that there have been major earthquakes annually since the turn of the century? We can explain it away with science and of course by human greed – between bombs in war and blasts for mining minerals, it is no wonder earth’s plates have been more violently displaced and active than usual. We also may be aware of the strangest phenomenon taking place in Africa now – the plates below have shifted and scientific predictions of 2020 are, rather have become a partial reality in 2023. Some are saying it’s more of an explosion

This is not cause for fear or despair dear Siblings. End Time phenomenon, including famines, have been gurgling in the background from that Fateful Day in the Garden when Adam and Eve were obliged to seek temporary lodging outside of Eden. Yes, I do believe that humanity is destined for full-time face-to-face abiding with God. I don’t know what exactly it will be like, but it’s something we all ought to look forward to and strive towards.

So, if this is the real deal – the Beginning of The End truly – what we ought to do is be in readiness, as we do for hurricanes and other disasters. Therefore, we check our supplies:

* Do we have enough Oil (Lord fill us with Your Spirit with fresh oil in reserve),

* Do we have our cache of non-perishables (the relationship with Jesus that cannot be destroyed),

* Have we battened down our roofs and windows (staying rooted and grounded in God’s Secret Place with God’s Word and prayer sustaining us continually)?

If we continue to do so, no need to panic. And if not, there’s still time.

We watch and pray and align. Lord please help us
