How are you? Finding the Faithwalk a bit challenging? Plagued by memories of the past? Never forget we have Jesus on our side.

But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.”

Recently, I have been drawn to thought about how we treat “fallen” saints. While I do not condone sinful behavior, I am rather conscious of my own fall from grace even while proclaiming Christ as Messiah. For, while I would wish otherwise at times, I am very much human, prone to sin and not always by accident.
What about you? Would that describe your own situation? And if this is true for you, can you imagine Jesus having a similar conversation with you as he had with Peter? How would you respond to him?
Can you imagine going back to the persons who KNEW that you denied Jesus at that critical moment in His fake trial? Then having to encourage them in their Faith-walk? Assuming they’re even interested in listening to you.
And what of those who were with you last weekend/yesteryear when you were out and about incognito? Now that you’ve turned your life around, would it be possible to share God’s love and offer of grace with them?
Here’s the good news, Christ is interceding for you and me! AND, He has faith that we will overcome our sinful past. So much so that He wishes us to encourage those who are still struggling
